Terms of Use

Effective date: September 3, 2026

These Terms of Use govern access to platteros.com and related PlatterOS website features. By visiting the website, requesting a demonstration, starting a trial, or using a service that links to these terms, you agree to them. If you act for a restaurant or another organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf.

About PlatterOS

PlatterOS provides restaurant-management technology designed to connect operational workflows such as orders, reservations, inventory, guest information, analytics, mobile management, and marketing support. Product availability, features, integrations, and pricing may vary by plan, restaurant, location, and service agreement.

Eligibility and authority

You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement and use PlatterOS for lawful business purposes. If you create or manage an account for an organization, you are responsible for ensuring that authorized users follow the applicable agreement and that account information remains accurate.

Demo requests and trials

Submitting a demo request does not create a customer relationship or guarantee acceptance, availability, pricing, implementation timing, or any particular feature. Trial access may be limited by time, functionality, usage, or eligibility. PlatterOS may change or end a trial where reasonably necessary to protect the service or prevent misuse.

Accounts and security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and for activity carried out through your account. Use strong passwords, provide access only to authorized team members, and notify PlatterOS promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or a security incident. You must not share credentials in a way that circumvents plan or user limits.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the website or service for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or deceptive activity.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, bypass, or gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts.
  • Do not upload malicious code, infringing material, or information you are not authorized to use.
  • Do not scrape, copy, reverse engineer, resell, or commercially exploit the service except where a written agreement expressly permits it.
  • Do not use PlatterOS in a way that violates privacy, intellectual-property, consumer-protection, employment, food-service, or other applicable laws.

Customer information and responsibilities

You remain responsible for the accuracy and legality of information you submit, for restaurant decisions made using the service, and for maintaining any notices, permissions, and consents required for your customers and employees. PlatterOS provides operational tools but does not replace professional accounting, legal, tax, employment, food-safety, or regulatory advice.

Intellectual property

The PlatterOS name, branding, software, designs, text, graphics, user interfaces, and other materials are owned by PlatterOS or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms grant only a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to access the website and any authorized service. No ownership rights are transferred.

Feedback

If you voluntarily send ideas or suggestions, you permit PlatterOS to use them to improve or develop its services without restriction or payment, provided that this does not give PlatterOS ownership of your confidential business information.

Pricing, subscriptions, and payment

Website pricing is general information and may be changed. Taxes, implementation, integrations, payment processing, custom services, or third-party costs may be additional. Customer subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment terms are governed by the order form or service agreement accepted for the relevant account.

Third-party services and links

PlatterOS may connect to or link to third-party products, payment providers, social networks, delivery platforms, or other services. Third parties control their own services, availability, terms, and privacy practices. PlatterOS is not responsible for third-party content or services except where a written agreement expressly states otherwise.

Service availability and changes

We work to keep PlatterOS available and reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, updates, security events, internet failures, third-party outages, and other circumstances may affect access. Features may be changed to improve security, performance, usability, or legal compliance.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and general website content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. PlatterOS disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, where such disclaimers are legally permitted. Specific customer warranties, if any, are stated in the applicable service agreement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlatterOS will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from use of the website. Any liability relating to a paid service is subject to the limits in the applicable customer agreement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Suspension and termination

PlatterOS may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, security risks, non-payment, material breach, or harm to users or systems. Customer termination rights are governed by the applicable service agreement.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the PlatterOS entity providing the relevant service, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any mandatory consumer or statutory rights remain unaffected. The governing jurisdiction for a paid service should be stated in the applicable order form or customer agreement.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the website, services, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the latest revision. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
